Bed Caddy

Background: Instead of buying a bed caddy for my dorm at Georgia Tech I decided it would be much more fun to make one myself. As and added challenge I also chose to restrict myself to a design that did not use screws, glue, or any other fastener. In addition it was to be made completely out of 1/4” MDF so that all the parts could be laser cut at once. After taking some basic measurements and determining just how much storage space I wanted, I came up with the design shown below.
